Funding agency: European Investment Bank

Principal investigator: Prof. Elisa Ughetto (Politecnico di Torino)

Years: 2008-2009

Amount: individual STAREBEI grant

This project is funded under the STAREBEI grant by the European Investment Bank, developed in collaboration with the European Investment Fund.
The project aims at exploring the issue of the relationship between private equity transactions and post acquisition performances for a selected sample of firms in Italy and UK. The main focus of the study is to investigate to what extent the characteristics of the deal, the specific features of the private equity firm and the nature of the exit strategies affect post acquisition performances.
